As Christian parents, Josh and I dedicated Gabriella in order to make a promise to the Lord to do everything within our ability to raise her in a godly way. We will pray for her until she can make a decision on her own to follow God. We will raise Ella in the ways of God. We will teach and train her in God's Word, demonstrating an example of godliness, disciplining according to God's ways, and praying earnestly for her for the rest of our lives.
She did very well at her dedication, and even gave a big smile for Dr. Brooks. However, after our turn was finished, she let it be known to all (using her powerful lungs) that she wanted some food right away! That girl knows what she wants, what can I say? :)
